I am SO excited to be launching my first crochet earring kit this week!!

Crocheting earrings is so fun and rewarding but when writing up the patterns for my earrings I realized they weren’t that accessible for people to make. You have to purchase the hardware for the actual earring in bulk and who needs that when you just want to make one pair of earrings?? You have to buy three skeins of yarn when you only need one yard of each color! Then add in a small crochet hook and some backing for the earring and you’re looking at a $50-60 project that is only going to take you <30 minutes to make. The more I thought about it the more I wanted to come up with a solution and I thought creating kits for my customers would be the definite answer!

Now you can receive everything you need in addition to a step-by-step video tutorial to make these adorable earrings. I’ll even through in the earring holder to you can give the earrings to someone or just gift them to yourself! #treatyoself

YOU WILL NEED

• 100% cotton aran/worsted weight yarn

• Colors you will need: blue, pink and purple

• A 4mm crochet hook

• Cork fabric

• Fishhook earrings

• Hot glue gun and glue sticks

The stitches/ skills you will need to know and KEY:

• Chain (ch)

• Slip Stitch (sl st)

• Single crochet (sc)

• Magic ring

• Weave ends and finish off.

CROCHET PATTERN

With pink and a 4mm crochet hook, magic a magic ring and chain 1

Row 1: Make 2 sc into ring, chain 1 and turn. Pull the loop tight to close.

Row 2: Make 2 sc in each stitch across (4 sc) switch to purple, chain 1 and turn

Row 3: Make 2 sc in each stitch across (8 sc) switch to blue, chain 1 and turn

Row 4: Make 2 sc in the first stitch, 1 sc in the next repeat from * to * across. (12 sc) 

Finish off and weave ends.

With scissors, pliers or jewelry pliers attach the fisheye ear-wire to the center top stitch of the rainbow.

Hot glue the rainbow to cork fabric.

Make a total of 2 and you’re done!
