Finish off and weave ends.

Wheel Covers- MAKE 2

With red on a 5mm hook, chain 9

Row 1: *2 sc in the second chain from the hook, sc in the next chain.* Repeat from *—* all the way across. Finish off and weave ends. [12 sts]

Door Details:

To make the indents on the car that give it the door details make three chains with red on a 5mm hook. The front most and back most chain are 5 chains. The middle vertical and horizontal indent are chains of 12. Hot glue these chains in place after you glue the windows and before you glue the wheels.

Use a tapestry needle and black yarn to sew a little door handle.

Row 3: sc across [4 sts]

Stump:

With dark brown on a 5mm hook, chain 4

Row 1: sc in the second chain from the hook, sc across [3 sts]

Row 2: sc across [3 sts]

Finish off and weave ends.

Hot glue the tree together and then hot glue it to the top of the car. I used thin twine to make it look like there was rope attaching the tree to the car. That is optional.

Glue the entire piece to felt and cut it out to make it sturdier. You can also glue a tied piece of string in-between the felt and the piece to use as an ornament.
