I was planning a trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and I really wanted to create something fun for the trip. I thought a cowboy boot applique would be so fun! I knew I could take pictures of it in front of the famous Cowboy Bar and at the ranch that we planned on horseback riding! It fit in perfect with the western vibe!
This is such a quick pattern to whip up and you only need to know a few stitches! I doubled up the yarn to make it a little bigger but if you used a single strand of yarn and 5mm crochet hook, you could make it small which would be perfect for a magnet, pin or ornament!
For the bigger version, I think it would be so cute to make them in a bunch of colors and then make a bunting with them. I’m picturing this for a kid’s birthday party too as a decoration! So many cute projects!

You can use any color you want! I recommend using 4-medium weight yarn in either acrylic and/ or cotton.
