CROCHET PATTERN
Sunflower – Make 1
The Center:
Make two balls with the 1 skein of chocolate yarn so that way you can have two strands of yarn on the 6.5mm hook.
Make a magic ring.
Round 1: Work 6 sc into ring – 6 sts. Do not join, continue in a spiral.
Round 2: (2 sc) in each st —12 sts
Round 3: [(2 sc) in next sc, sc in next sc]— 18 sts
Finish off and weave ends.
The Petals:
Using the 9mm hook and the yellow LKYC yarn, attach to any stitch from the center with a slip stitch.
All within the same stitch: *chain 3, 1 tr, chain 3, sl st in the 3rd chain from the hook, 1 tr, chain 3, sl st into the same stitch, skip the next stitch from the center and slip stitch into next stitch from the center.*
Repeat from * – * until you have 9 petals total.
Finish off and weave ends.
Stems and leaves
Make 1 stem with Clover and 9mm hook, chain 15 and finish off/weave ends.
Make 2 leaves: chain 6, sl st in the second chain from the hook, sc, hdc, 4 dc in the last chain and now turn work so you work on the other side of the chain, hdc in the next stitch, sc, sl st.
Finish off and weave ends.
Assembly
Use the picture as a guide.
Once you have finished you can either sew or hot glue your bouquet to your desired surface.
