I’m obsessed with flowers. I am realizing as I get older how much I love a pretty bouquet. I love to look at pictures of flowers on Instagram and Pinterest. And now I am really into making my own bouquets at home. I would definitely say tulips are at the top of the list of favorite flowers. And I got really excited to visit a tulip field here on Long Island. My mom and I went to the Tulip Festival at Water Drinker Family Farm & Garden on the East End of Long Island. I was soooo excited about this and tulips do not bloom for very long so I went the first day the festival was open and it did not disappoint. Thankfully I had already made my crocheted tulip appliques for this trip. I glued them onto a jute tote bag and it made for a great bag for this trip! You can get these jute tote bags here.

This free crochet pattern is perfect for beginners. It is SO easy and so quick! I made a step by step video tutorial as well.
