Looking for a perfect tote bag to bring with you to the summer markets? Or maybe just to your local grocery store?! This Farmer’s Market inspired fruit applique tote bag was just what I needed to add color and life to my summer wardrobe! I loved making this tote bag with a full fabric lining. It was so easy to make. The tote bag itself took no time to whip up and then I made all the different fruit appliqués which are very beginner friendly.
I used 4-medium weight yarn in either cotton or acrylic. Here are all my favorite yarns:

I used a 6.5mm crochet hook for the bag and a 5mm crochet hook for all the appliqués.
I also used a tapestry needle and a hot glue gun to attach the appliqués to the bag.
