YOU WILL NEED

I use 4-medium weight yarn.

Colors you will need: three different browns- two browns for the boot, one brown for the bottom and tan for the sole and yellow for the show lace.

A hot glue gun and glue sticks

The stitches/ skills you will need to know and KEY:

Chain (ch)

Slip Stitch (sl st)

Single crochet (sc)

Half double crochet (hdc)

Decrease (dec)

Increase (inc)

Weave ends and finish off.
Final Dimensions: 5 inches wide x 4.5 inches tall
CROCHET PATTERN
Top of the boot:
With golden brown on a 5mm hook, chain 13
Row 1: sc in the second chain from the hook, sc in the rest of the chains [12sc]
Row 2: sc across [12sc]
Row 3: dec, sc across [11sts]
Row 4: sc in the first 9 stitches, dec [10sts]
Row 5: dec, sc across [9sts]
Row 6: sc in the first 7 stitches, dec [8sts]
Row 7-9: sc across [8sc]
Row 10: dec, sc across [7sts]
Row 11-13: sc across [7sc]
Finish off and weave ends.
Bottom of the boot:
With dark brown on a 5mm hook, chain 17
Row 1: sc in the second chain from the hook, sc in the rest of the chains [16sc]
Row 2: sc in the first 15 sc, inc in the last sc [17sc]
Row 3: sc across [17 sc]
Row 4: sc in the first 15 sc, dec [16sc]
Row 4: Only stitching in the first four stitches: sc, hdc, hdc, sl st. Finish off and weave ends.
You will hot glue row 4/5 to row 1 of the top of the boot.
The very bottom of the boot:
With tan on a 5 mm hook, attach to the last stitch of row 1 from “bottom of the boot” section. Sc across [16sc]
Row 2: sc in the first six stitches (this will be the heel) —[6sc]
Finish off and weave ends.
The boot seams:
With light brown and a 5mm hook, you will make five separate chains.
Chain 10— outer left seam
Chain 6— top seam
Chain 12— outer right seam
Chain 9— inner right seam
Chain 11— bottom seam
Weave all the ends.
Hot glue all the seams in place.
Laces:
With yellow on a 5mm hook, chain 25. Finish off and weave ends.
Hot glue laces in a zig zag between the out and inner right seam.
Hot glue the appliqué to felt to make it sturdier or glue to a bag or card stock. This boot would make a great decal or decoration!!
